Seven Years in Tibet – A Movie That Changed My Thinking
When I watched Seven Years in Tibet , I expected it to be just an adventure film. But it turned out to be much more than that. It’s a story of change, peace, culture, and self-discovery. It made me think about life in a different way. The movie is based on the real story of Heinrich Harrer , an Austrian mountaineer who gets stuck in Tibet during World War II . In the beginning, Harrer is proud, selfish, and only cares about his own success. But when he enters Tibet, everything slowly starts to change. Tibet is shown as a peaceful, spiritual place with kind-hearted people. H arrer meets the young Dalai Lama , and they form a special friendship. Even though the Dalai Lama is just a child, he is full of wisdom, curiosity, and peace. Watching their bond grow was one of the most beautiful parts of the movie for me.
